Euro NCAP has published the best scores from the 2022 safety tests. The Hyundai IONIQ 6 has been named the safest car of the year in the Euro NCAP test for safety and was named 'Best in Class' in the category 'Large family car'.

Hyundai IONIQ 5 performs excellently in the car crash safety test, offering outstanding protection for adult passengers. The Hyundai IONIQ 6 scored a stunning 97 percent in this category, among the highest. It also works admirably when it comes to protecting youngsters in cars (87 percent) and vulnerable road users (66 percent) and evaluating the car's safety systems (90 percent).

"We are thrilled that the Hyundai IONIQ 6 has been designated the safest large family vehicle. "It's a fantastic start for the IONIQ 6, which we hope to arrive in the first half of 2023," says a publicity manager for Hyundai.
