The Chinese manufacturers of electric cars are better and better, they are growing fast and some are already beginning to be profitable. These, are the reasons that companies like XPeng have seen their stock market price rise. Like all manufacturers, especially Chinese, Xpeng wants to put Tesla in difficulty with its new electric car: Xpeng P7 Wing.
This new XPeng P7 Wing Limited Edition special series is available in two models, both equipped with the 80.9 kWh capacity battery. The rear-wheel-drive version has an engine of 266 hp and 390 Nm of torque, while the All-Wheel Drive version with two engines offers 430 hp and 655 Nm. The first model offers 670 km of autonomy while the second can offer 562 km of autonomy (NEDC cycle).
The performance is pretty decent (0 - 100 km / h in 4.3 s in the AWD version), but not as breathtaking as the spectacle offered by the opening of the doors. The XPeng P7 Wing Limited Edition is much more than just a nice big saloon with scissor-style doors.
P7 Wing electric car comes equipped with the new XPILOT 3.0 semi-autonomous driving system (14 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars and 5-millimetre-wave radars), an advanced infotainment system and a Dynaudio high-end sound system with 18 speakers. Also, scissor-style doors are electrically operated and can be opened or closed with: the car key, Bluetooth, NFC, mobile phone app and through the vehicle's voice assistant system.
In China, the new XPeng P7 Wing Limited Edition electric car will be offered at a price of 47,000 euros using the subsidies from the Chinese government.
