The new Skoda Enyaq iV all-electric SUV model has received the highest rating with five stars in tests performed by the Euro NCAP. Enyaq iV is listed among the safest cars on the market today with a score of 86% of the possible points.

The new Skoda Enyaq iV electric SUV can be equipped with all the advanced assistance systems that Skoda has to offer. Front Assist with Predictive Pedestrian and Cyclist Protection warns, just like Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert, if there is a risk of a collision with other vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians or other objects. Front Assist can anticipate an accident entirely or at least reduce the consequences of such. If a collision with another vehicle, a pedestrian or cyclist were imminent, Collision Avoidance helps the driver by making targeted interventions in the steering to prevent an accident.

When turning left at an intersection, Turn Assist can detect oncoming traffic at an early stage and then warn the driver and automatically brake the car to a stop.

If a crash is imminent, despite all assistance systems, the proactive Crew Protect Assist function will automatically take various measures to protect the car, the driver and the passengers. The system fastens the seat belts and closes the windows and the sliding panoramic sunroof.

Up to nine airbags protect the driver and passengers of the Skoda Enyaq iV all-electric SUV in the event of a collision. Airbags in the driver's and front passenger seats are standard, as are the side airbags and two side curtains that cover the side windows in the front and rear seats. A centre airbag between the front seats reduces the risk of the driver and front-seat passenger colliding and being injured.

The Euro NCAP consortium was founded in 1997. The organization carries crash tests on current vehicle models and evaluates their active and passive safety. Although at first only the results of crash tests were evaluated, the classification of active safety systems, as well as driver assistance systems, now has a greater weight in the overall evaluation.
