Toyota will debut its new mass-produced electric car, bZ4X, in a taxi variant for the first time at the European Taxi Fair in Essen(November 4th and 5th). The electric SUV is the centerpiece of Toyota's new generation of electrified taxis, including the Toyota RAV4 plug-in hybrid, the hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai, and the full Lexus ES 300h.

The bZ4X is Toyota's first electric vehicle based on the e-TNGA platform. According to the WLTP standard, the traction battery with an energy content of 71.4 kWh allows for a range of 436 km.

The Toyota bZ4X electric SUV is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, with the same power of 150 kW for each (204 hp). The consumption of the two-wheel drive variant is officially 14.4 kWh/100 km, while the consumption of the four-wheel drive version is 15.8 kWh/100 km. Toyota has yet to announce pricing for the bZ4X as a taxi. The electric automobile now costs at least 47,490 euros to private buyers.
