The Mobilize Duo is one of the electric quadricycles that Mobilize will focus on in its evolution, and it is a conceptual progression of the Renault Twizy. Noteworthy: despite its comparable size, this tiny electric car has two seats (rather than one, as the Twizy does) and an interior with an intriguing practical aspect. Naturally, the materials and finish have been engineered to withstand hard use over time.
Dealing with the digital age - yes, advancements in style and comfort - slowly. Next to the driver's seat are two storage boxes. It is possible to load a foldable wheelchair into the passenger compartment. People up to 1.80m in height can sit comfortably in the back seat. The body is built of recycled materials, and the vehicle is 95% recyclable when scrapped.
The Mobilize Duo electric vehicle measures 2.43 meters long, 1.30 meters wide, and 1.46 meters tall. A common European parking space may fit up to three Duos parked perpendicular to its long side.
An electric engine in the back drives the rear wheels. In terms of performance, the new Mobilize Duo electric quadricycle dedicated to urban mobility has a range of 140 kilometers and a top speed of 80 km/h.
Finally, Mobilize Duo has a utility variant named Mobilize Bento. In this scenario, the body has only one seat and a container with a usable volume of over 700 l in the back! In theory, Mobilize Duo and Bento will be accessible for car-sharing on a subscription basis.
In time, I think that Mobilize Bento could be a serious competitor to Citroen My Ami Cargo.
