According to the Japanese business daily Nikkei Honda is preparing for 2022 an electric vehicle able to be charged in 15 minutes.

The technology being developed at Honda would allow to charge a range of 240 km in fifteen minutes through the use of new batteries. This fast charging cycle would push Honda to design very light vehicles to offer the greatest possible autonomy.

Pending the arrival of this future generation of “15 minutes” chargeable electric cars, Honda will launch in 2019 an electric car for Europe which will be inspired by the concept car Urban EV unveiled at the last show in Frankfurt.
